He is one of Pasco's crew members but also a friend.
Pasco helped Bruno find his love, Mahala, after she had been taken by sea merchants.
Bruno feels like he can never repay Pasco for saving Mahala so he sticks around to help Pasco out however he can -be that babysitting Peach and Nell or just being intimidating standing next to him xP.
